BETH PATTERSON (USA)

    Beth Patterson

    SATURDAY OCTOBER 4, 1-3PM
    MONA LAWNS

New Orleans-based Beth Patterson gathers musical influences like she's cooking up a simmering pot of spicy gumbo to share with her audiences. Added to the mix are sonic flavors of Celtic, West African, Indian, Balkan, and Indonesian music, with a dash of progressive rock. With a voice 'pure enough to cut glass, and inviting and sensuous as fire', you might want to ask for the recipe.

    NICK RUSSONIELLO ENSEMBLE

    Nick Russoniello

    SUNDAY OCTOBER 5, 1-4PM
    MONA LAWNS

Saxophone meets strings this Sunday, as Nick Russoniello Ensemble presents 'Between Worlds'; an innovative album by Russoniello and the Acacia String Quartet, which erodes the borders of genre and tradition; allowing the music to flow free.

    MoFolk + JAM

Music all weekend long, every week, curated by Brian Ritchie: Friday DJs, Saturday MoFolk and Sunday JAM. If the weather is nice, the music is on the lawns. If it's crap, it's inside the museum.

P.S. Shortly, we'll also be running a busking program - so keep your peepers peeled for musical prodigies on the plaza, lawns, driveway, wherever.
